Good Morning, My name is Jen, and I’m currently a volunteer tutor in a non-profit organization in Winnipeg, Canada called NEEDS Inc. I work on a regular basis with students of all ages and subject ranges. The students I work with are typically immigrants and refugees, so I have experience working with EAL students. I also volunteer at the local food bank in Winnipeg called Winnipeg Harvest, where I help to put food hampers together. I love helping people and my main goal is to make a positive impact in someone’s life, as much as I can. I originally was trying to obtain a teaching degree from the University of Winnipeg, so I have 3 years of experience as a student teacher.
