To be a successful tutor, I believe that I possess several quality traits. I am confident and knowledgeable about the subject matter I am teaching. Patience and understanding with students as they struggle to learn new information are standard practices for me. I am willing to change the method by which I prepare a concept to suit the needs of each student. My enthusiastic approach toward the concepts I am teaching keeps students engaged in a lesson. It is essential for me to establish an amiable rapport to maintain a respectful and cooperative working relationship with students. I care about my students’ successes and failures. I have three years of high school teaching experience. For two years, I taught in a classroom.
